Penn State Center For Sexual & Gender Diversity To Host Lavender Recognition April 25

Penn State’s Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity is hosting its annual Lavender Recognition ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 25, in Alumni Hall at the HUB.

Lavender Recognition recognizes the graduating students of Penn State’s LGBTQ+ community and acknowledges their achievements and contributions to the university. It invites students from any Penn State campus who will be graduating in 2025, whether in May, August, or December.

Folks can register for Lavender Recognition using this link. Registration for the ceremony closes on Friday, April 4.

The ceremony is open for all students regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, or any other protected class.
