Report: Penn State Hoops Forward Kachi Nzeh Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State men’s basketball forward sophomore Kachi Nzeh has entered the transfer portal, per On3. This is Nzeh’s second time in the portal in as many years.

Nzeh played a backup role behind Yanic Konan Niederhauser this past season. He averaged 2.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game and shot 61.1% from the field in 29 games during his lone season as a Nittany Lion. Konan Niederhauser’s future with the program is uncertain, as he declared for the NBA Draft but announced he would return to Penn State should he back out.

Nzeh spent his freshman season at Xavier where he put up similar numbers. Nzeh played in 19 games for the Musketeers where he averaged 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game and shot 60% from the field.

Nzeh will be searching for his third program with two years of eligibility remaining.
