Penn State Men’s Volleyball To Face Harvard In EIVA Quarterfinals

Penn State men’s volleyball’s path to clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament is set.

The Nittany Lions are set as the No. 3 seed in the EIVA Tournament, where they will take on No. 6 seed Harvard in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. This is the first time that Penn State will play a quarterfinal match in the tournament — it clinched a first-round bye in the past four EIVA Tournaments.

Penn State and Harvard split their two-game series earlier this season when the Crimson swept the Nittany Lions in the first game before the Nittany Lions returned the favor in the second game. All matches in this year’s tournament will be hosted by No. 1 seed Princeton at Dillon Gymnasium.

The Nittany Lions will play their quarterfinal match against the Crimson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23. The winner will take on No. 2 NJIT at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24.
