Former Penn State Wide Receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith Drafted By Los Angeles Charges

Well, that’s one former Penn State wide receiver in the NFL.

Former Penn State football wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers with the No. 158 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft. Lambert-Smith played his last year of college football at Auburn.

Lambert-Smith had a rocky career at Penn State that ended with discontent among fans toward his on-field results. He finished four years with the Nittany Lions with 126 catches for 1,721 yards and 11 touchdowns. He recorded 53 catches for 673 yards and four touchdowns in his last year in Happy Valley as the leader of an underwhelming receiver corps.

After moving to Auburn, Lambert-Smith caught 50 passes for 581 yards and eight touchdowns, helping boost his draft stock.

Three Nittany Lions were selected before Lambert-Smith, as Abdul Carter, Tyler Warren, and KJ Winston heard their names called in the first two days of the draft.
