[Photo Story] State College Mac ‘N’ Cheese Festival

The Mac ‘n’ Cheese Festival was held at the Penn Stater Hotel on April 27, where restaurants from across the Centre region showcased their best mac and cheese.

Presented by Allied Milk Producers and Seven Mountains Media, 13 restaurants, 14 additional vendors, and more opened their doors for families and individuals to taste and vote for who they think has the best mac and cheese. The festival provided live music, jewelry, and other shopping goods for all to enjoy.

Our photographers were on the scene to check out all the cheesiness.

The event featured plenty of oddities, including a mac ‘n’ cheese mascot.

The Sunset Slush Happy Valley served delightful Italian ice.

The breweries, wineries, and distilleries caught everyone’s attention.

Many restaurants brought their offerings, and all of them were packed while serving mac ‘n’ cheese and other items like accessories and desserts.

The day continued with servings of mac ‘n’ cheese, but the festival was more than that. It was a get-together for families to have a good time while also showing support for these hardworking restaurant owners.
