[Photo Story] Ross Student Farm Hosts ‘Earth Day On The Farm’

The Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm held its annual “Earth Day on The Farm” event last Friday evening. Folks took a shuttle that ran periodically from the Berkey Creamery to the farm to enjoy the festivities.

At the farm, the group had workshops, food trucks, crafts, and so much more. We sent our photographers to capture some of the fun-filled moments from the farm’s Earth Day celebration.

There were many fun, interactive elements at the tables set up by different organizations.

The Penn State Frost Entomological Museum and Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center made an appearance and showcased some remarkable finds from nature.

The Shiitake Mushroom Log workshop was a hit, where attendees could cultivate their own mushroom log and take it home. It looked like it took some muscle!
