Alpha Fire Co. To Host Open House May 10

Alpha Fire Co., located at the Borough Fire Station at 400 W. Beaver Ave., will host an open house for the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 10.

The community is invited to check out the facility and learn about the services provided by Alpha Fire Co., Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Forestry, Centre Region Code Administration, and the Centre Region Fire Protection Program.

Attendees can expect fire safety demonstrations, bucket rides, giveaways, apparatus and station tours, light refreshments, and the chance to show off their firefighting skills.

The fire company provides fire and rescue services to 104 square miles in Centre County with both volunteers and career staff.
