Seniors Reflect On Their Last Year At Penn State

Well, that’s all she wrote for the Class of 2025.

With our seniors set to claim their diplomas, they took the time to look back at the memories they made in their last year as Penn State students.

Kyra Birmingham

Senior year makes up half my time at Penn State. Two years definitely wasn’t enough, but I loved this year. I fortified the friendships I made in my junior year and made even more. I took classes outside of my comfort zone, and loved them. I pushed myself creatively to the point of burnout, but I had the right people around me to help me through it. This year wasn’t easy, but it was worth every moment.
I don’t know what the next year has in store for me, but that’s okay because literally nothing matters.

My final year at Penn State was everything I wanted it to be and more. My only complaint is that it wasn’t long enough. Just know that this university is the greatest on Earth, and I’m gonna miss it with every ounce of my being.

What a year. I got to cover historic seasons for Penn State football and men’s hockey, which is a blessing. What a run, right? Not many better ways to cap it off than the CFP Semifinal and the Frozen Four. I got to do so much with my friends, whether it be nights out, road trips, and so forth. I had so much fun this year, and while I’m upset my time here is coming to an end, I’m becoming more and more at peace with it. I love this place, and I love the people in it.

Joe Lister

I don’t think I have much to add for my senior year. I had my ups and my downs, but I didn’t have many regrets. I spent time with my friends, poured too much energy into this blog, and spent a lot of time at Pickle’s. The Eagles won the Super Bowl, too.
