Lady Lions Add Transfer Forward Amiya Evans

Penn State women’s basketball landed its newest transfer forward Amiya Evans from Georgia on Monday.

The junior forward from Pensacola, Florida, played in 52 games in three years for the Bulldogs. Evans averaged 5.1 points and 6.2 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per game.

Evans joins a Penn State team looking to rebound from a rough 2024-25 season. The Lady Lions went 1-17 in Big Ten play and lost ten consecutive games to end the year.
