Penn State Women’s Volleyball Releases 2025 Big Ten Schedule

Penn State women’s volleyball is almost back, folks.

Following a national championship in 2024, the Nittany Lions released their 2025 Big Ten schedule Wednesday.

Penn State will open its Big Ten slate with three straight home matches in late September and early October against USC, UCLA, and Nebraska, before going on the road to face Maryland on October 5. Penn State will also face the Terrapins at home on November 23 and the Cornhuskers on the road on November 28.

Following their matchup at Maryland, the Nittany Lions will return home for matches against Wisconsin and Northwestern on November 10 and 11, respectively. They will then take a trip to the West Coast on October 17 and 18 to take on Washington and Oregon.

On the 24th of October, Penn State will host Rutgers, and will then play at Ohio State on October 26 and at Michigan on Halloween. The blue and white will open the month of November with a home match against Indiana on the 2nd.

November 7, 9, and 14 will all bring away matches, as Penn State heads to Purdue, Illinois, and Minnesota, before taking on Ohio State for a second time on November 16 at home. It will remain at Rec Hall on November 21 to play Michigan State. Finally, the Nittany Lions will close out the regular season on November 29 at Iowa.

Penn State will once again be led by Katie Schumacher-Cawley, and despite losing key pieces from last year such as Jess Mruzik, Camryn Hannah, and Taylor Trammell, has a reloaded roster headlined by transfers Emmi Sellman and Kennedy Martin.
