Oregon Set As Penn State 2025 White Out Opponent

Penn State football will face Oregon in its 2025 White Out game, the team announced Thursday.
After going undefeated in Big Ten play in its first season in the conference, Oregon will take on its first White Out atmosphere. Including the 2024 playoff game against SMU, Oregon will be the 12th team hosted by Penn State in a White Out.
The Nittany Lions and the Ducks have faced off five times since 1960, with Penn State leading the series 3-2. The most recent matchup came in 2024 in the Big Ten Championship, where Oregon prevailed 45-37.
The game is set for Saturday, September 27, at 7:30 p.m. and will mark Penn State’s first conference game of the year.
Oregon is coming off an excellent first season in the Big Ten, finishing the year 13-1 and winning the Big Ten Championship game. An eventual loss to Ohio State in the Rose Bowl, though, saw nine players get selected in the 2025 NFL draft from the Ducks, including quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
After winning the last six editions of “the Greatest Show in College Sports,” Penn State is 13-8 all-time in White Out games. In the games James Franklin has been at the helm, the Nittany Lions are 8-3 in the White Out.
