Penn State Men’s Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule

Folks, the wait to return to Jeffrey Field has officially begun.

Penn State men’s soccer released its 2025 schedule on Monday. The Nittany Lions will play at home 10 times and kick off their regular season schedule on Thursday, August 21, against Stetson.

Before their regular season begins, the Nittany Lions will play an exhibition match at Jeffrey Field on Saturday, August 9, against American University before taking on Harcum College the next day in their second exhibition match. Six days later, the team will play their final exhibition match against Loyola University Maryland on Friday, August 15.    

After the preseason, Penn State will open its season at Jeffrey Field against Stetson on Thursday, August 21. The team will play its road opener against Army on Sunday, August 24. Four days later, Penn State will continue its road trip when it takes on Syracuse on Thursday, August 28.

The Nittany Lions will return to Jeffrey Field for back-to-back home games where they will take on Missouri State and Mercyhurst before kicking off Big Ten play at Rutgers on Friday, September 12. Head coach Jeff Cook’s group will host Indiana on Friday, September 19, in its conference home opener. This match marks the beginning of a three-game homestand from Friday, September 19, to Tuesday, September 30. The blue and white will also host Maryland and Robert Morris during this stretch.

The Nittany Lions will host Big Ten foes Northwestern, Washington, and Michigan, while traveling to Michigan State, UCLA, Wisconsin, and Ohio State for the duration of the season.
