Former Penn State Lacrosse Player Jack Posey Joined The High Point Coaching Staff

Former Penn State lacrosse defender Jack Posey joined High Point’s coaching staff, the Panthers’ head coach John Crawley announced on Wednesday.

Posey played four years with Penn State from 2019 to 2024, racking up 42 games and 25 starts on defense. Despite playing defense, he added four goals throughout his career and 52 groundballs. In 2023, he was voted to the Inside Lacrosse, USILA, and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention selections. He was also named to the All-Big Ten Second Team that season.

Now, Posey plays professionally for the Carolina Chaos in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), where he has made three appearances in the 2025 season.

“We’re thrilled to have Jack join our staff,” Crawley said in an interview for the High Point website. “Not only is Jack playing at the highest level of the game night now — but he is extremely passionate about making young athletes better men. He is an excellent for our locker room, and I can’t wait to watch him make an immediate impact on our guys.”

Crawley is no stranger to the jump from the Big Ten to the Atlantic 10, as he joined the Panthers after serving as Johns Hopkins Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator. The High Point coach also played four years in the conference.
