Three Penn State Football Stars Named To Walter Camp Preseason All-American Teams

Three Penn State football standouts made the Walter Camp Preseason All-American team, the organization announced Tuesday. Nick Singleton and Zane Durant led the way, both making the first team, while Vega Ioane made the second team.
Singleton joined Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love on the preseason First Team All-American list. The Nittany Lions running back is largely considered one of the top backs in the country, and is coming off a season rushed for 1099 yards and 12 touchdowns on 172 carries. Singleton also proved he is a threat in the pass game, going for 375 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2024.
Durant is the lone Penn State defender to make the list, joining Dylan Stewart from South Carolina, Colin Simmons from Texas, and Peter Woods from Clemson on the defensive line. The defensive tackle was a rock for Penn State a year ago and will be looking to improve on his 42 tackles and three sacks from 2024.
The final Nittany Lion to make the list was offensive lineman Ioane on the Preseason Second Team All-American list. The Graham, Washington, native started every game for Penn State in 2024 and was selected to the All-Big Ten second team by the coaches and media. He is the only Big Ten offensive lineman to make the list.
