Penn State Men’s Hockey Releases 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule

Can October come any faster?

The Nittany Lions announced their 10-game 2025-26 non-conference schedule on Wednesday. It features six teams.

The Nittany Lions start the season on the road for the third consecutive year. The team faces Arizona State for the first time since 2020 on October 3. The Sun Devils were the first team out of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

Then, Penn State returns to Pegula Ice Arena for three straight weeks of non-conference play in front of Hockey Valley. The team faces the Clarkson Golden Knights in the home-opener October 9-10. Clarkson fell one game shy of a playoff berth last season.

The Nittany Lions then host Long Island University on October 17-18 before concluding the month with a first ever meeting with Stonehill.

Penn State has only seven non-conference losses in the past seven seasons, leading the Big Ten with a 0.764 winning percentage in non-conference games.

The Big Ten typically releases the full conference schedule in late August.
