Penn State Women’s Volleyball Announces 2025 Promotional Schedule

The return to Rec Hall is almost here, folks.

Penn State women’s volleyball released its promotions schedule for the 2025 season on Wednesday. The eight-game calendar features a championship celebration match, a THON match, a White Out, and more.

The defending national champions will begin their promotional schedule in their home opener against Kentucky on Friday, September 5, with Championship Celebration Night, where they will raise their national title banner. This match will be the start of a nine-match homestand for the Nittany Lions.

During that homestand, the Nittany Lions will host two more events- their first-ever Team Ream match and the THON match. The Team Ream Match will feature Big Ten foe USC on Friday, September 26. The THON match will come two days after the Team Ream Match when Penn State takes on UCLA.

The Nittany Lions will host two annual events in October with its White Out match against Wisconsin on Friday, October 10, and its Dig Pink match against Rutgers on Friday, October 24.

Penn State’s promotional schedule will come to an end in November. It will continue to raise awareness for the fight against cancer when it hosts a V Foundation match against Indiana on Sunday, November 2. Military Appreciation Night will come against Ohio State on Sunday, November 16, and Family & Friends Day, along with Senior Day, is set for Maryland on Sunday, November 23.

The defending champions will begin their bid to repeat as national champions when they open their season against Creighton in theĀ AVCA First Serve Event on Saturday, August 23.
