Podward State: Season 12, Episode 5 Ft. Jess Holtz

In the fifth episode of season 12 of Podward State, hosts Keeley Lamm, Hailey Stutzman, and Ally Eaton were joined by Penn State Class of 2007 alumna and Co-Head of Basketball at CAA Sports Jess Holtz.

Holtz kicked off the interview by sharing bits and pieces of her Penn State journey with the crew. She talked about the importance of the friendships she made throughout college and how they’ve supported her in her career, and also shared that she attended the first ever White Out Game.

Holtz walked our hosts through her 19 year journey in the basketball world, including her transition to becoming a certified player agent in 2021, where she then went on to become the first agent to sign two Supermax deals in one day.

She shared favorite moments with clients and players Devin Booker and Karl-Anthony Towns, along with detailing what an average day in her life looks like. The episode wrapped up with Holtz sharing her advice for other women in the sports industry.
