Former Penn State Football Defensive End Adisa Isaac Out Multiple Weeks With Dislocated Elbow

Update, 8:35 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26:

Adisa Isaac did not make the Baltimore Ravens’ initial 53-man roster, but has been placed on the team’s injured reserve. He will miss the opening four games of the season at the least, but is designated to return.

Original Post:

Former Penn State football and current Baltimore Ravens defensive end Adisa Isaac is out multiple weeks with a dislocated elbow he sustained in the Ravens’ 31-13 preseason win over the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh confirmed the injury in his post-game press conference, but Isaac’s timeline for return remains unclear.

The Ravens selected Isaac with the No. 93 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he showed some promise on a talented Baltimore defense despite an injury-riddled rookie year. He tabbed four tackles with one tackle-for-loss in just four games in 2024, but there was high praise for him within Baltimore to be a solid defensive piece. Now, the Ravens have to move towards the start of the season without him.

Isaac appeared in 46 games for the Nittany Lions from 2019 to 2024. He recorded 90 total tackles, 31.5 tackles-for-loss, 14.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
