Report: Nittany Lion Wrestling Club’s Aaron Brooks Facing Three Years Suspension

Four-time NCAA wrestling champion and Olympic bronze medalist Aaron Brooks has reportedly been given a three-year suspension after failing two drug tests.

He recently failed a test with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, after reportedly failing one earlier this summer, in June. His OTC supplement from Wegmans contained the banned substance DHEA. Since this is his second incident this summer, he was hit with the suspension, despite whether the substance was unintentional.

Brooks can fight against the claim through arbitration.

If the suspension stays, the wrestler won’t be available until right before the 2028 Olympic Trials. It would also include a ban from training at any USA wrestling facility or with any partners on Team USA.
