Two Penn State Fraternities Placed On Interim Suspension

Two Penn State fraternities were placed on interim suspension for alleged violations of university policies, according to an update on a Penn State website.

Delta Chi fraternity has been suspended since January 27, while Lambda Chi Alpha was placed on interim suspension on January 21. Penn State’s student affairs website shows the fraternities as the only two organizations currently on interim suspension, but it did not provide any more details.

Under interim suspension, the fraternities are “not permitted to hold meetings, events, or recruitment activities, and their members are expected to comply with all imposed restrictions.”

Nine other Penn State fraternities are currently suspended at Penn State.
