Penn State Football Freshmen “Set The Standard” To Kick Off Fall 2025 Semester

Classes are back in session, folks, which means our X feeds were blessed with Penn State Football’s very own “Setting The Standard” trend.

The program’s freshmen are expected to document their arrival to class 10 minutes early, at a minimum, and sit in the front row. This idea reinforces the strong culture that James Franklin has built here in Happy Valley, one that preaches the importance of his athletes being attentive in the classroom.

Let’s take a look at how the newest guys on the block fared in their first day of classes.

Malachi Goodman

If I were Malachi Goodman, I would be offended by the shaming of overeating present in this picture, amongst other things. The young offensive lineman has to eat to fuel that 6’5″, 320lb frame! #BigBoysArePeopleToo

Jeff Exinor Jr.

Love the enthusiasm from Jeff Exinor Jr. here. Not quite centered, but absolutely at the front of the unmistakable Forum Building, ready to learn!

Cam Smith

We’ve got an overachiever on our hands, and his name is Cam Smith. The linebacker was evidently 15 minutes early to his class. Love to see it.

Xxavier Thomas

At first glance, it’s easy to assume that Xxavier Thomas was in the same class as Joseph, but the timestamps read an hour apart, so I suppose BBH is simply just a popular class among athletes.

Brady O’Hara

Three classes in one day can be draining, but Brady O’Hara is evidently still “Setting The Standard” through his long stretch of academics. However, deduct points for no #WeAre in the post.
