Penn State Women’s Soccer stays put at No. 9 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll, the group announced Tuesday.

Penn State remains in the top 10 for its second consecutive week.

The Nittany Lions clinch the No. 9 spot after hosting two matchups this past week, defeating Santa Clara and tying their match against James Madison on Sunday’s senior night.

Penn State will face No. 8 Virginia in a pivotal match this upcoming Thursday, September 4, at 6 p.m. in Charlottesville. The team will then stay in Virginia to round out its week of games at Liberty at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 7.
