State College Borough Announces Parking Changes Ahead Of Villanova Game

The State College Borough has announced parking changes ahead of the Penn State football game against Villanova this weekend.

Starting at noon on Friday, September 12, the “no parking 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.” and one and two-hour parking restrictions will both be lifted until 2 a.m. on Monday, September 15.

Additionally, lawn parking will not be permitted. The following Pennsylvania Vehicle Code Violations will also be enforced:

  • No parking on the sidewalk
  • No parking within an intersection
  • No parking on a crosswalk
  • No parking within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection
  • No parking within 30 feet of a stop sign
  • No parking over 12 inches from the curb
  • No parking against traffic
  • No parking in front of driveways
  • No parking anytime

Cars in violation of any of those restrictions could be ticketed and towed.
