Penn State Football Remains At No. 2 In Week Four AP Poll

Penn State football remained at No. 2 in the latest AP Poll, the Associated Press announced Sunday afternoon. The Nittany Lions’ placement comes after a 52-6 win against FCS team Villanova. This is Penn State’s fourth week in a row at No. 2.

Penn State remains the least-tested team in the top five of the AP Poll and the only one without a Power Four victory. The Nittany Lions are joined in the top 25 by fellow Big Ten teams No. 1 Ohio State, No. 6 Oregon, No. 9 Illinois, No. 19 Indiana, No. 21 Michigan, and No. 25 USC.

The Nittany Lions take their first bye week of the season before welcoming No. 4 Oregon to Beaver Stadium for the 2025 rendition of the White Out on September 27. The Ducks have rattled off three straight wins and have one more test against Oregon State before making the trip to Happy Valley.
