Transfer Portal Roundup: Week Three

Penn State declawed Villanova 52-6 on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium.

The Nittany Lions carried a shutout deep into the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats scored on an absurd touchdown catch with just four seconds remaining in the ballgame.

For the most part, the Nittany Lions who departed from Happy Valley via the transfer portal also joined Penn State in the win column during week three. Let’s take a look.

Beau Pribula, Missouri

Beau Pribula moved the Tigers to 3-0 on the year with a 52-10 beatdown against Louisiana. The former Penn State quarterback completed 15 of 22 passes for 174 yards, threw a pair of touchdowns, and ran in a touchdown, but also tossed an interception on the day.

Harrison Wallace III, Ole Miss

Harrison Wallace III continued his strong start to the season in Ole Miss’ 41-35 win over Arkansas. The Montgomery, Alabama native hauled in six catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. Through his first three games with the Rebels, Wallace III has totaled 15 catches for 339 yards and two touchdowns, along with a strong 22.6 yards per reception mark.

Ta’Mere Robinson, USC

Former Penn State linebacker Ta’Mere Robinson logged three solo tackles in USC’s 33-17 win over Purdue.

Cam Miller, Rutgers

Senior defensive back Cam Miller recorded one assisted tackle for Rutgers in its 60-10 win over Norfolk State.

Smith Vilbert and Joseph Mupoyi, UNC

After departing from Happy Valley for Chapel Hill as a duo, Smith Vilbert and Joseph Mupoyi each recorded a tackle in North Carolina’s 41-6 victory over Richmond.

Tyrece Mills, UConn

Former Penn State defensive back Tyrece Mills recorded three total tackles in UConn’s 44-41 overtime loss to Delaware.

JB Nelson, Kansas State

Now a member of Kansas State’s offensive line, JB Nelson’s new unit surrendered just one sack in the Wildcats’ 23-17 loss to Arizona. His front also led the way for 105 team rushing yards in the losing effort.
