Saquon Barkley To Participate In Fanatics Flag Football Classic Alongside Fellow NFL Stars

NFL legend Tom Brady announced Monday that he’s starting up the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, a new round-robin tournament with three teams of current and former NFL players.

Saquon Barkley received an invite along with Christian McCaffrey, CeeDee Lamb, Maxx Crosby, Rob Gronkowski, Sauce Gardner, Myles Garrett, and others. The three teams will be coached by Pete Carroll, Sean Payton, and Kyle Shanahan.

The tournament will take place on March 21, 2026, and provides a first-of-its-kind contest for football fans to enjoy. It will be hosted at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Brady hopes the event will gauge more interest in the sport internationally as flag football makes its Olympic debut at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

Additional participants spanning from professional athletes from other sports, as well as celebrities, will be announced in the coming months.
