Brainstorming Penn State-Themed Energy Drinks

When you live and work on a college campus, it is extremely common to see students with an energy drink in their hands. What happened to coffee?
Anyway, students guzzle energy drinks for many reasons, whether that be to cram for an exam, brave a hangover, or survive a noon football game. Given their popularity among college students, we decided to brainstorm some Penn State-themed energy drinks.
White Out Energy
If this brand were real, it would be a missed opportunity not to make a flavor inspired by last year’s “White Out Energy” that helped Penn State secure its September win against Illinois. The energy and atmosphere at that game were intense, to say the least. Putting that feeling into an energy drink would be a spectacular feat of its own.

Pollock Testing Power
A Penn State student’s most dreaded location on campus: the Pollock Testing Center. A fun take on Celsius, this is an energy drink perfect for cramming the night before an exam.

THON Thunder
Inspired by THON, the world’s largest student-run philanthropy, this flavor would be a refreshing raspberry lemonade. This drink would be perfect for students who are participating in THON and need that extra boost.

Pegula Punch
This drink is inspired by our hockey arena and our ice hockey team. I imagine that this drink would have an icy peach flavor.

Nittany Nitro
Most energy drinks have an original flavor. For this new Penn State-themed take on the popular drink brand Alani, their signature flavor would definitely be Nittany Nitro. I imagine that this flavor would have a classic blue raspberry taste, to match the Penn State blue.

Bloop Breeze
Inspired by everyone’s favorite CATA bus, this drink will give you enough energy to run to the bus stop when you know you’re running late.
