Brainstorming State Patty’s Merch We Want To See

State Patty’s weekend was created by students in 2007 who wanted to celebrate the holiday early. Since its creation almost 20 years ago, the celebration’s popularity has grown immensely, making partying on State Patty’s weekend a Penn State tradition.

Every year, stores downtown hop onto the trend and start selling a variety of Saint Patrick’s day merch weeks before the holiday itself. With the weekend approaching, we came up with some ideas for State Patty’s merch we want to see.

Inspired by the famous and trending “I love New York” design, this shirt is perfect for anyone who wants to stylishly declare their love for the booze-filled weekend.

This shirt is perfect for anyone who wants to show their love for drinking beer or their Irish heritage.

This shirt is perfect for people who want to look stylish but still be on theme, featuring a cute plaid pattern.

This shirt is inspired by fabric pennants, which are often seen in college students’ dorms to represent their college. A versatile and fun design that can be reworn year after year.
