White Out Merch 2025: Where To Shop Downtown

Folks, White Out week is officially here.

With the greatest show in college sports happening later this week, downtown State College is fully stocked with all the white gameday gear any alum, student, or fan could possibly need.

If you’re like me and waited till the last minute to choose your outfit, don’t worry. Downtown’s got you covered for all your White Out needs.

Here’s a list of the best selections to make your shopping a little bit easier. So go on, head downtown and get to shopping.

McLanahan’s

Everyone’s go-to for a reason. McLanahan’s had racks and racks of clothing to fulfill all of your White Out wishes. And with College Gameday making its way back to State College for the second year in a row, McLanahan’s has you covered there, too.

Family Clothesline

Family Clothesline has everything you need for whatever weather Saturday might bring. After three straight gamedays with what I would call perfect weather, they’re ready for anything with the constantly changing forecast. As soon as you walk in, you’ll find tank tops, a wide selection of t-shirts and sweatshirts, and of course, LTFI hats.

Student Bookstore

There weren’t any specific White Out sections. However, like many other stores downtown, they were selling the Big Ten Showdown shirts. That said, if you take a look around the store, you’re sure to find a sweater or sweatshirt to throw on in case it gets a little chilly Saturday night.

Lock Boutique

Have a little too much fun at the tailgate lots? Lock Boutique has you covered, with their hats returning you to Happy Valley. While their white clothing selection is still on the way (a new shipment is arriving later this week), their White Out accessories are fully stocked. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to dress things up for gameday.

Lion And Cub

Lion and Cub had white out merchandise scattered throughout their store. Whether you went to Penn State or married into it, I promise you, you can find an outfit; it just may take a little bit of walking around the store.

Lions Pride

Lions Pride didn’t have any specific White Out sections; however, you can easily find any of your White Out needs. A raincoat may be in your future.

Rapid Transit Sports

In my opinion, Rapid Transit is severely underrated. They have a wide selection of White Out merchandise, including a couple of variations of Nittany Lions vs. Ducks-specific shirts.

Connections

It definitely ain’t my first tailgate, and it probably isn’t yours, either. Connections has a great selection of White Out merchandise without the Penn State logo, or as I call it, “nonchalant Penn State,” and is going to be restocking and adding new items throughout the week as well.

Appalachian Outdoors

The exclusive Happy Valley x Happy Camper sweat set is only available here, and luckily, it’s fully stocked. It might be a little warm this weekend, but this is definitely the set to get your hands on.
