[Photo Story] Penn State vs. Michigan State

1-0.

Penn State traveled to East Lansing to take on Michigan State in Spartan Stadium with both teams in the hunt for their first Big Ten win. And for the first time in 63 days, the Nittany Lions came out victorious, dominating the Spartans in a 28-10 win.

Our photographers were there to capture all the action of the Nittany Lions’ first win under Terry Smith.

The team entered in very windy conditions, following closely behind the Spartans.

The Nittany Lions took the field for warm-ups.

Players switched to their road whites to get a few more reps before it was game time.

Time to fight.

Quickly trailing 7-0 in the first quarter, Kaytron Allen evened the score with an 8-yard touchdown run. BOOM.

Zeke the Wonderdog entertained the crowd during timeouts with his frisbee tricks.

One play. 75 yards. Devonte Ross touchdown.

Hi there, Nittany Lion!

Dani Dennis Sutton.

After a slow third quarter, Ross answered again. Scoring his second touchdown of the night, he extended the lead to 21-10 at the beginning of the fourth.

Allen sealed the Spartans’ fate with his second touchdown of the night.

This one was for you, Terry Smith. The Nittany Lions secured their first Big Ten win this season, snapping a six-game losing streak.

The Land-Grant Trophy is ours.

The Nittany Lions will be back in Beaver for the last time this season to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 22.
