LaVar Arrington To Serve As College GameDay Guest Picker

Penn State football alum LaVar Arrington will be College GameDay’s guest picker for its Saturday show on Old Main Lawn, ESPN PR announced in a press release. It’s the first time Arrington will be the guest picker.

Arrington is a College Football Hall of Famer and a two-time First-Team All-American as a Nittany Lion from 1997-99. The linebacker was drafted No. 2 overall by the Washington Redskins in 2000.

Arrington wore the No. 11 while in Happy Valley, creating the now-famous look for top linebackers wearing the blue and white.

College GameDay will air in front of Old Main, running from 9 a.m. to noon. Penn State kicks off against No. 6 Oregon for the 2025 White Out at 7:30 p.m., and the game will be televised on NBC.
