Report: Penn State Football Linebacker Tony Rojas Suffers Long-Term Injury

Standout Penn State linebacker has been diagnosed with a long-term injury, per On3’s Pete Nakos.
The timetable for Rojas’ return has not been announced yet; however, he is expected to miss significant time.
Rojas is a critical piece of the Penn State defense. He’s tallied 25 total tackles, including 13 solo tackles, two sacks, and a pass deflection in four games this season.
After being held out of spring ball competition after rehabbing a lingering shoulder injury during the offseason, Rojas was set to have a massive year under new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles.
In his Penn State career, Rojas has tabbed 104 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble, and four interceptions, including his 59-yard pick-six last season against SMU in the College Football Playoff.
In his absence, linebackers such as Dom DeLuca, Keon Wylie, Anthony Speca, and Dakarri Nelson will serve as the next players up for Penn State’s defense.
