Your Guide To Penn State Bars And Restaurants In Los Angeles

If you’re lucky enough to be in the City of Angels as the Nittany Lions make the trip out to UCLA, you might be looking for a place to catch the game amidst Bruin territory. With plenty of alumni calling Los Angeles home, the LA chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association puts together select watch locations and events throughout the city.
Britannia Pub
Located at 318 Santa Monica Blvd. in Santa Monica, California, “The Brit” offers viewing of the game and features some Penn State decor. The pub offers typical American fare in an inside and outside dining environment, with draft and drink specials. On Saturday, Britannia is open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Rocco’s Tavern – Studio City
Rocco’s Tavern is a family-owned sports bar located at 12514 Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, California. The Studio City location is the primary and largest of the four venues, offering 15+ HD TV screens, an outdoor patio, and fun for the biggest sports bar in the Valley. Catch the food and drink menu starting at noon through 2 a.m.
The Crest
The Crest Sports Bar and Grill, located at 1625 Cabrillo Ave. in Torrance, California, is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. Craft cocktails, bloody marys, and draft lists fill the space as fans from all over pack in to catch a game. A full menu filled with lunch, dinner, appetizers, and dessert options leaves little to be desired for hungry Penn State fans.
If you aren’t making it into Rose Bowl Stadium to watch the Nittany Lions kick off at 12:30 p.m. PST, local time, then check out one of these watch locations for some solidarity during the game.
