Landon Sidun Commits to Penn State Wrestling

Landon Sidun, the No. 4 overall recruit on MatScouts’ 2027 big board and the top-ranked wrestler in the nation at 120 pounds, announced his commitment to Penn State wrestling on Monday. Sidun becomes the second member of Penn State’s 2027 recruiting class, joining Gavin Mangano.

“I am extremely excited to announce that I’ve committed to Penn State to further my wrestling and academic career! I believe Penn State will be the best fit for me, and I can succeed in many aspects,” Sidun wrote in his official commitment post.

Sidun is widely regarded as one of Pennsylvania’s top wrestling prospects. In just his first two seasons at Norwin High School, he compiled an impressive 72-2 record. As a freshman, he won the PIAA Class 3A state championships at 114 pounds. In his sophomore season, Sidun boasted a 30-0 record but missed the postseason due to injury.

Sidun is projected to wrestle at 125 pounds in collegiate competition.
