Class Of 2026 Four-Star Wide Receiver Davion Brown Decommits From Penn State Football

Class of 2026 four-star wide receiver Davion Brown, out of Trinity Episcopal, has decommitted from Penn State, Hayes Fawcett of On3 announced Monday. The move comes shortly after the departure of James Franklin from the program.

Brown originally posted on X that he was exploring all options moving forward and reopening his recruitment. Brown confirmed to On3 his intentions of officially decommitting.

The 6’3, 185-pound receiver out of Richmond, Virginia, was the No. 5 player in the state, No. 17 receiver, and the No. 148 player overall in the class of 2026, according to 247sports.com.

Brown first committed to Penn State on May 12, after forgoing interest from schools including Georgia, Michigan, Duke, and Syracuse.

The Virginia native becomes another class of 2026 commit to announce their choice to part from the program following coaching changes.
