Penn State Men’s Lacrosse’s Alex Ross Earns USILA Team Of The Week Honors

Penn State men’s lacrosse senior defenseman Alex Ross was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association’s Team of the Week, the association announced Tuesday.

The honor comes after Ross helped Penn State to a 17-7 win over Yale on Saturday. In that matchup, the Davidsonville, Maryland, native contributed to the win defensively with three caused turnovers and four ground balls.

Both the three caused turnovers and four ground balls mark season highs for Ross.

The Nittany Lions are set to host top-5 opponent Cornell this Saturday for Youth Lacrosse Day at 1 p.m. at Panzer Stadium.
