Week In Pictures: October 13-19
A week has come and gone here in Happy Valley, folks!
With hockey lighting up Pegula, fall festivities at the Arboretum, and much more, our photographers were there to capture every moment. Time to see what we’ve been up to in State College.
October 13: Terry Smith was introduced as football’s interim head coach at a press conference after the firing of James Franklin.
October 14: Fresh produce was sold at the farmers’ market downtown for anyone to enjoy.
October 15: Men’s and women’s basketball held media day before practice.
October 15: As the leaves on campus changed, there was plenty of time to appreciate peak fall foliage.
October 16: Outside of East Halls, students played pickleball while they enjoyed the sunset.
October 17: Students and community members came together to send our football team off to Iowa in style.
October 17: Field hockey had an overtime win while sporting pink and black jerseys against Iowa.
October 17: Men’s hockey was back in Pegula against LIU in a heated game that ended with a sweep for the Nittany Lions.
October 17: Men’s soccer tied 2-2 with Northwestern during its White Out.
October 18: The fall festival was in full swing at the Arboretum with pumpkins and activities for all.
October 18: Penn State community members came together and held a No Kings protest on Old Main lawn.
October 18: Women’s hockey swept Mercyhurst, keeping it 8-0 as the season continues.
October 18: Football fell to Iowa 25-24 in a battle till the end on the road in Iowa City.
October 19: The Lady Lions made their way to Rec Hall to play an exhibition game against California University of Pennsylvania.
