Penn State’s shield features the iconic Lion Shrine, which many know and love. Having this on your porch on Halloween night will show your Nittany pride.

This one might be for more ambitious pumpkin carvers, but if done well, it would look amazing. This design is a great throwback for anyone who went to Penn State while this design was still in its prime.

The most spoken phrase across campus. Simple, yet recognizable.
Love Ya Lions
With the phrase, “Love Ya Lions!” returning this year, it felt fitting to create a pumpkin carving that evokes that Penn State nostalgia in people.
Lion’s Paw Dots
This idea felt cooler in my mind, and would be even cooler in real life. All of the small dots might be tiresome, but the results would be impressive.
Onward State Logo
It wouldn’t really be Penn State-themed pumpkin carvings without Penn State’s No. 1 student-run blog’s logo included. Of course, we might be a little bit biased, but we think it is the perfect carving.
