Former Penn State Football Commit Jaziel Hart Flips To North Carolina

Former Penn State football class of 2026 three-star cornerback commit Jaziel Hart has committed to North Carolina, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Hart decommitted from the program two days after James Franklin’s firing on October 12.

Hart is the No. 16 player in Virginia, No. 43 cornerback in the class of 2026, and No. 559 player in the country, per the 247 Composite rankings.

Hart is Penn State’s third flipped commitment from the 2026 recruiting class in the aftermath of Franklin’s firing. Four-star wide receiver Jahisear Rogers committed to Oklahoma Monday morning. Three-star defensive lineman Alex Haskell committed to Syracuse last week.
