Three-Star Defensive Lineman Isaac Chukwurah Flips From Penn State Football To Miami

Penn State football three-star defensive line commit Isaac Chukwurah has flipped his commitment to Miami, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Chukwurah originally committed to the Nittany Lions in April.

The Bear, Delaware, native is ranked as the No. 2 player in the state, No. 60 defensive lineman in the class of 2026, and No. 506 player in the nation, according to the 247 Composite rankings.

He he reopened his recruitment on October 13, the day following James Franklin’s firing. He now finds himself a new home in south Florida. He also received interest from Syracuse, West Virginia, and NC State.

Chukwurah is Penn State’s fifth lost recruit in the class of 2026 after Franklin’s firing.
