Penn State Women’s Basketball Adds Chikae Desdunes On National Signing Day

Penn State women’s basketball officially signed Chikae Desdunes on National Signing Day. Known for her impact on both ends of the floor, Desdunes is expected to be a strong addition to the Lady Lions roster.

Desdunes, a four-star, 5-foot-10 guard from New Orleans, looks to bring her versatility to Happy Valley. Ranked No. 51 in the Class of 2026 by ESPN, she is coming off her junior season at DME Academy, where she averaged 12.8 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
