Three-Star Defensive Lineman Tavian Branch Decommits From Penn State Football

Former Penn State football class of 2026 three-star defensive line commit Tavian Branch has decommitted, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Branch committed to Penn State in September and reopened his recruitment following James Franklin’s firing.

Branch is the No. 15 player in Pennsylvania, No. 58 defensive lineman in the class of 2026, and No. 513 player in the nation, per the 247 Composite rankings.

Branch is Penn State’s 17th decommit in the class of 2026. He was the last remaining interior defensive lineman for the Nittany Lions in the 2026 class. Four-star edge Jackson Ford remains on the edge.

Before committing to Penn State, Branch had interest from Ole Miss, Auburn, and Maryland. He has visited both the Rebels and the Tigers in November.
