Penn State Football’s Kaytron Allen Named Big Ten Offensive Player Of The Week

Fatman is on a tear, folks.

Penn State football running back Kaytron Allen capped his final regular season with the program with yet another Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week distinction, his third straight.

The senior running back has been dominating the ground game for Penn State in the back stretch of the season, tallying a combined 50 carries for 341 yards and four touchdowns against Michigan State and Nebraska.

Against the Scarlet Knights this past weekend, Allen had another career-high game with 226 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

This season has been monumental for the running back’s draft stock as he now sits at 1,303 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns on 210 carries, good enough for a 6.2 yards-per-carry average.

Allen sits as the program’s all-time leading rusher with 4,180 career rushing yards, No. 3 in career rushing touchdowns with 39, and No. 9 for most rushing touchdowns in a single season.

If he plays in Penn State’s bowl game, Allen will have the opportunity to jump into the top 10 for the most yards in a single season by a Penn State rusher.
