Former Penn State Football Commit Davion Brown Flips To Virginia Tech

Former Penn State football class of 2026 four-star wide receiver commit Davion Brown has flipped to Virginia Tech, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Brown committed to Penn State in May and decommitted from the program on October 13, the day following James Franklin’s firing.

The Richmond, Virginia, native is ranked as the No. 6 player in the state, No. 38 wide receiver in the class of 2026, and No. 259 player in the nation, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings.

Brown is Penn State’s 22nd lost recruit of the 2026 class. He is the eighth to make the move to Blacksburg and join Franklin, but the first wide receiver to do so. Three-star offensive lineman Benjamin Eziuka flipped to the Hokies earlier today.
