Grey Burnett Commits To Penn State Wrestling

Penn State wrestling has landed the No. 6 recruit in the Class of 2027 in Grey Burnett. Burnett announced his commitment on Tuesday night.

Burnett marks the fifth wrestler to commit to Penn State in the Class of 2027. He visited Penn State over the weekend of Penn State’s opening dual win against Oklahoma. The Perrysburg, Ohio, native is a former teammate of Penn State freshman Marcus Blaze at Perrysburg High School.

Burnett is no stranger to the spotlight, having won the UWW U17 Trials in freestyle this spring. He currently wrestles at 125 lbs, but could move up to 133 in college.

Burnett joins Landon Sidun, James Witbred, Will Soto, and Gavin Mangano as the commits for Penn State in the Class of 2027.

Penn State Wrestling will continue its season on the road with a dual meet against Drexel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5th.
