Former Penn State Football Commit Tavian Branch Flips To Auburn

Former Penn State football class of 2026 three-star defensive line commit Tavian Branch has flipped to Auburn, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Branch decommitted from Penn State right before the Rutgers game.

Branch has risen in the recruiting rankings in the past few weeks, now falling as the No. 15 player in Pennsylvania, No. 58 defensive lineman in the class of 2026, and No. 516 player in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

The Taylor, Pennsylvania, native reopened his recruitment before decommitting and has been taking visits throughout November. Ole Miss was the most recent one, with schools like Auburn also welcoming Branch to campus.

Branch had interest from Ole Miss, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Rutgers before committing to Ole Miss. He was predicted to join the Rebels, but with Lane Kiffin departing, his decision landed at Auburn.
