Penn State Football Signs Two Recruits On National Signing Day

Penn State football signed two recruits on National Signing Day. The Nittany Lions picked up a quarterback and edge rusher after a handful of commits flipped schools leading up to national signing day.
2:10 p.m.: Four-star quarterback Peyton Falzone flipped back to Penn State, signing his letter of intent to the program on Wednesday afternoon.
Falzone originally committed to the Nittany Lions on April 12, but flipped to Auburn in June. He decommitted from the Tigers on December 1.
The 6’4″, 200-pound quarterback is ranked as the No. 10 player in Pennsylvania and No. 20 quarterback, per the 247Sports composite rankings. He is the second signee of Penn State’s 2026 class after Jackson Ford.
1 p.m.: Four-star edge rusher Jackson Ford signed his letter of intent to the program on Wednesday afternoon.
“Just a hard worker. I’m just going to, when I get there, put my head down and grind. I’m going to have a great work ethic on and off the field. I’m just going to be a high-motor guy and have great energy in the locker room, just trying to lift as many people as I can with my attitude, how I talk, and how I play,” Ford said live on CBS Sports College Football’s YouTube channel Wednesday afternoon.
Ford committed to Penn State in June. He is the No. 9 player in Pennsylvania, No. 25 edge rusher in the class of 2026, and No. 256 player in the country, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. The Malvern Prep product is Penn State’s only signee of the 2026 class so far after four-stars Matt Sieg and Terry Wiggins flipped their commitments earlier today.
