Frat Formal Friday 101: Everything You Actually Need To Know

Folks, it’s that time of year again. Many people forget that finals aren’t the only stressful factor for college students in mid-December. Here’s your guide to surviving frat formal Friday.

Have A Dress Ready

You don’t want to stress about finding a dress on the day of. Have one on deck. Maybe one you don’t mind getting ruined by Crown Russe and cheap mixers.

Say Yes To The Right Guy

Please don’t go to frat formal with the guy you barely remember meeting and hooked up with once. Go with someone who won’t leave you halfway through the night.

Your Purse Is Your Survival Kit

Bring perfume, hair ties, lip liner, and other essentials. Better safe than sorry.

Wear Comfy Shoes

Find a pair of shoes that won’t end your night early. If you’re wearing heels, make sure they have wide platforms and can withstand the sticky frat floor.

Make It Past The Pregame

Please hydrate and eat before. You’re going to want to remember the night. With that said, avoid mixed drinks made by men without measuring skills.

Take Photos & Have Fun

Your date might wander off mid-formal. Who cares? Take photos, make friends with other girls in line for the bathroom, and try to have fun, even if your date is blacked out and talking to his ex.

Don’t Go

He’s probably on Hinge talking to other girls.
