Three-Star Safety Bryson Williams Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2026 three-star safety Bryson Williams has committed to Penn State football, he announced Saturday. Williams is Matt Campbell’s first Penn State commit of the 2026 recruiting class.

The Omaha, Nebraska, native is tabbed as the No. 6 player in the state and No. 81 safety in the class of 2026, per 247Sports’ composite rankings. Williams was released from his signing with Iowa State on December 9 after Matt Campbell’s official introduction as Penn State’s head coach.

The 6’4″, 175-pound safety racked up 49 solo tackles, three interceptions, two blocked punts, and one blocked field goal in his 2024-25 junior campaign, according to his MaxPreps profile.

Williams chose to join Campbell in Happy Valley over Vanderbilt. To see what the newest Nittany Lion brings to Penn State, check out his Hudl highlights here.
