Penn State Women’s Volleyball Setter Kate Lally Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State women’s volleyball setter Kate Lally is entering the transfer portal, it was announced Sunday evening. Lally has one year of eligibility remaining.

The 5’9 redshirt sophomore spent two seasons with Penn State. As a freshman, the State College, Pennsylvania, native did not appear in any games, but she did earn a spot on the 2024 Academic All-Big Ten team. Lally appeared in just three sets this season, logging two service errors.

Lally is the third player from the 2025 team to enter the transfer portal, joining Karis Willow and Marin Collins. The Nittany Lions went 19-13 this season.
